The Trust has today published a letter from the Chairman of the BBC Trust, Lord Patten, to the BBC Director-General, George Entwistle. It contains a request for the Director-General to check that the BBC's child protection policies, processes, guidance and training are fit for purpose, alongside those on sexual harassment, bullying and whistle-blowing. It asks for an interim report on this to be given to the Trust at its December meeting, which is scheduled to take place on December 19.
