It should provide an ambitious range of innovative, high quality programming that is intellectually and culturally enriching, taking an expert and in-depth approach to a wide range of subjects.
Current service licence
The Trust reissued this service licence in April 2016 with an amended baseline budget for the year 2016/7. In giving approval to this change, the Trust has been assured by the BBC Executive that the change to the budget does not reflect any change to the remit, scope or other stated key characteristics of the service.
